Great way to spend a Friday. • Hiking up to Santiago Peak today Highest peak in Orange County, elevation 5,600 ft. There are supposedly a bunch of radio antennae up there, so maybe I will climb one of those as well. • Deep fried cherry pop tart • with Wendy and Bobbie at Frankie's tiki lounge • I like my women like I like my gelato good, cold, and bitter. • Sandra and I were just photographed by DiveBarCulture.com In L.A.s Koreatown. Trying some soup we saw on Anthony Bourdain. • Adopted out one cat yesterday, but brought home two more in its place. The adventure continues. • Sandra and I are celebrating our six-year wedding anniversary today We are accepting gins made of iron. Our number of years of marriage has finally surpassed our number of eats. • Malachi, creator of Axe Cop, just hit me with a foam axe. • Checking out the Dead Kennedys with a severe head cold aner work. Mixed feelings: equal parts excitement, nostalgia, and misery. • Damn it, my floor cleaning robot is rebelling whenever I set it to mop mode. Looks like I'll be the new Branch Manager for Laguna Beach Public Library. I start on the 19th Exciting! • $14 for a vodka-redbull? You bastards. • Looks like I'm gonna he the Gingerbread Man at the library's holiday festival. Need to get fitted fora costume. lean hardly believe it. • Ow- got a knee to the back of the head • I accidentally interrupted a Laguna Beach coven yesterday, so I won't be surprised if I'm a frog by next full moon. • Nothing kicks off a new year like a huge pot of homemade borscht.

He was kind of pissed the venue had these promotional cards in the lobby. For the meet and greet, he had a couple boxes of his latest book to sell and sign, but everybody just grabbed these cards and had him sign them.  I don't think he blamed anybody for doing that, but he was a little annoyed. He was like, "Where did you get these?"
